ActionBot & ScoutBot
Overview
For a university exam, I created two 3D models, "Action Bot" and "Scout Bot," designed to be part of a common narrative universe. The main objective of this work was to develop strong visual consistency between the two characters, integrating stylistic choices and design features so that they could be interpreted as complementary figures within a shared story.
Using Substance Painter for material creation, I implemented a series of custom textures and materials for each model, considering factors such as interaction with the environment, use, and the robots' functionality. The material design choices were made to emphasize the differences in the two bots' roles while simultaneously maintaining common stylistic elements and color palettes to reinforce the idea of affinity between the characters.
The final result was intended not only to showcase the ability to integrate advanced texturing work but also my attention to detail in designing 3D models that communicate through visual design.
